Hi there! Does anyone know the purpose of this semaphore in the underground level of Zurich HB, between the escalators? More specifically, this is on track 41/42, section B.
I thought this could be used in case of floods, however the position does not make much sense to me 🤷♂️

Language is a funny thing. I was looking at the image and asked my self: Where the heck is the [semaphore](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Railway_semaphore_signal)? Until I saw the light signal. Are you Italian?
As the saying goes: Is this art or can this be thrown away? Buts not the case here and it is for something else. There is even an option to activate the light.
