1. Honestly, I kinda love what they’re doing.

2. That’ll teach Van Gogh for painting with oil!!!

3. People get so up in arms and offended about pouring soup on a plastic cover on a painting. The painting will be destroyed one way or another if climate change isn’t properly addressed.

4. I admit I haven’t read the article, but the image of passionate supporters of Van Gogh and Andy Warhol having a museum throw-down is one I can support. Bring in some Dali, Picasso and Pollock and let’s paint the town red.

5. Anyone who reads history knows Van Gogh was not a fan of cars and electric infrastructure being powered by fossil fuels.

6. The only thing that sucks about this is people who traveled to see the exhibit and not being able to because it was closed/taken down for cleaning.

   Kids on field trips are missing out on seeing something they might never have the opportunity to see in real life again.

   And it’s not like big oil gives a fuck about this anyway.

7. The people most responsible for the climate crisis, those who polluted our air, our water, and our earth for personal gain are given impunity and allowed lives of luxury. Meanwhile, young kids who’ve the gall to criticize humanity for its hypocrisy in excusing these criminals are arrested and at risk of jail.

   Society’s pillars are quickly losing their legitimacy. These court’s don’t serve or protect the people. They serve and protect capital and those who hold it.
