What the F is it with the stampede of articles about perceived climate havens and North Carolina? That place has NEVER been on my radar as low risk, and I’ve spent brain cells on this topic for 30 years. I probably sound heartless but I’m just saying it like it is. In the lower 48 states, the overall lowest risk…. not zero, only lowest… is Michigan, and some places in the Mid Atlantic and NE.
