Born too late to deploy to the middle east.
Born too early to deploy to the middle east.
Born just in time to deploy to the middle east.
Don’t you dare use targeted beeper attack that is extremely specific to Hezbolah operatives.
Don’t you dare bomb from above to target Hezbolah.
Don’t you dare go in with troops to target Hezbolah specifically.
But it’s okay for Hezbolah to keep launching rockets at your civilians.
Looks like this time the world is wrong. Keep going Israel.
Why didn’t the world plea when Hezbollah launched thousands of rockets into Israel? Maybe without them rockets Israel wouldn’t have to retaliate??
Israel looks to be clearing the ground in preparation for the wider global conflict that keeps poking its nose above the horizon. From a strategic point of view, if the so-called “Arsenal of Democracy” can’t or won’t help defeat an obvious, war-crime-happy expansionist aggressor then Israel has to take care of itself now. It’s pure pragmatism in light of broken promises. Russia views what it is doing as pragmatic, too.
Before I hear any of you defending Hezbollah 👇

So much death (some of it deserved, some of it not) just to keep a corrupt politician in power
Where were the global pleas to hezbollah to stop shooting rockets into Israel?
Where were the “global pleas” against Hamas and Hizbollah rockets fired into Israel ?
Funny how everyone ALWAYS wakes up only after Israel had enough and starts reacting.
a lot of early comments on this post all saying practically the same thing…
It kinda hard to predict how terrorist will operate and this was a massive attack much larger than t he scale of 9/11 paid for massively by Iran. Even if you had merit claiming that he was somehow truly guilty of “letting 10/7 happen” or was complicit, he’s certainly making up for that now as he works to ending the existence of every single terrorist group that has laid a finger on Israel. And to those who say this will create MORE terrorists, this time it’s different. It’s an overall response so strategic and potent that it will seem ti sky slowly build these countries toward a re-education a la Germany and Japan eventually ending terrorism towards Israel at least.
Looks like southern Lebanon will be occupied again.
Israel wants that buffer zone, and no one is coming to save Hezbollah from the reaping.
Anyone who is complaining about this invasion is essentially saying they want to see Hezbollah continue murdering Israelis. That’s what it boils down to. They don’t care when Israelis are murdered. They don’t believe Israelis have a right to defend themselves.
Good. Do the world a favor and go for Iran once you mop up in Lebanon
>Lebanese PM: ‘We’re ready to implement UN Resolution 1701’
If anybody’s wondering, UN Resolution 1701 is:
>The resolution calls for a full cessation of hostilities between [Israel](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Israel) and [Hezbollah](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hezbollah), the withdrawal of Israeli forces from Lebanon to be replaced by Lebanese and [UNIFIL](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Nations_Interim_Force_in_Lebanon) forces deploying to [southern Lebanon](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Southern_Lebanon), and the disarmament of armed groups including Hezbollah
This resolution was made on **11 August 2006**.
The global community:
* Did you try a sternly worded letter with a law firm header?
Kick his ass, Sea Bass!
Maybe the international pleas should have started 11 months ago when hezbolla started bombing Israel. Even better maybe the international community should do something about the 1701 binding UN resolution that only Israel upheld.
Israel has the right to defend itself
This is the opportunity for the Lebanese to finally break free from Hezbollah.
*Hezbollah lobbies hundreds of attacks at Israeli citizens*
**Interational community:**
*Israel fights back by targeting military positions*
**International community:** STOP
”Please don’t invade Lebanon and keep being targeted by rockets to not ruin our elections and so we can keep on the illusion that negotiating with terrorists works.”
Yeah, no, enough is enough.
Next phase = more war with no end in sight
And when Israel gets it’s “buffer zone” it will realize that it’s useless. And then more war..
Until Israel comes up with a endgame this will just carry on.
Atleast Iran realized they have nothing to gain by getting involved.
Israel is sick of this shit. They are gonna go burn down the houses of their shitty neighbors.
The world was silent for almost a year of non stopping aggression from Lebanon. So please, stay silent now as well.
Since 2001 hezbollah has fired over 20,000 rockets into Israel. The majority have been at civilian targets
So global please are only said when Israel finally does something about the terrorists, but when they fire 1000s of rockets unprovoked, killing children and caused 100s of thousands of people to be forced to become refugees in thier own country, the world is silent and no pleas to stop the terrorists?
Am I the only one seeing the hypocrisy?
Global pleas mean nothing when you’re fighting an existential war and the world already sees you as the worst thing ever. Why would Israel ever not seize on this chance. Couple that with a PM who’s career hinges on a conflict going on and you’ve got a really bad day for Hezbollah.
Yeah there are global pleas, because the world governments know this won’t be a short two week skirmish, Israel in the past occupied the south for 18 years against a smaller weaker Hezbollah and didn’t manage to degrade them at all. Hezbollah today is much stronger, better supplied and far more disciplined than Hamas and their entire military structure and tactics are geared towards fighting a defensive Guerrilla war against Israel. They have understood Israel’s air power and ability to strike targets anywhere since the 90’s. And have became extremely decentralized with units able function with individual initiative. They have spent decades building countless well hidden hardened fortifications all over the south both in rural lands and within the towns, fighters are generally local to their post which means they have intimate knowledge of the terrain. More people than the news or the Lebanon Reddit would have you believe support them. They have been embedded into society in the south for 50 years, and the fighters families are there, and the Shia largely support them which means a hostile population that will hinder Israel and pass Intel. Trying to dislodge and break them will make defeating Hamas look like a day in the park. Several times as many fighters, drastically better equipped and trained, dug in and dispersed over an area that is a dozen times bigger than Gaza with terrain favorable to Hezbollah. Absolutely no way that Israel will be able to accomplish even clearing out enough fortifications along the border so the rockets are out of range in a couple weeks. I hope I’m wrong, but this conflict has a good chance of becoming a far longer, bigger, and bloodier one than Gaza.
The lebanese people absolutely hate hezbollah. Dont let horseshoe liberals tell you otherwise.
You know what would really cool?
If the largest military force in human history had not spent the last 20 years invading countries across the fucking globe
Because both genocidal Russia and genocidal Israel can rightly tell the US to go fuck itself, if we ask them to stop killing their neighbors
They are just fighting border wars, while we sent our killing machines to the other side of the globe to invade for no particular reason.
