Japan’s next prime minister keen to boost the military | DW News

Japan’s ruling Liberal Democratic Party has selected its new leader, who is also set to become the country’s next prime minister. The former defense minister Shigeru Ishiba will replace current leader, Fumio Kishida, who suffered a series of financial and political scandals. 1. Very good! Actually all that's really left is to consummate and memorialize the relations ships. If Australia is in the Biden Admin will be on board they are both so far left.

  2. Why is it a fantasy for South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Australia, Singapore and perhaps a few other countries to create their own NATO? They can just do it if it enhances their safety. They don't need US approval.

  3. 🇩🇪🇯🇵Germany and Japan must make a new alliance and regain global military superpower status. Germany and Japan can help stabilize the world.

  4. Indonesia been playing both sides since the fall of suharto.. Don't know why we need to pick a side now..

  5. as a south korean… don't want to be involved in silly japanese senkaku island dispute against china. smart japanese… want to defend their land using korean bloods.
