[Sami Mokbel] Paul Pogba has had his four year drugs ban reduced to just 18 months by CAS. He can start training with Juventus from January and start playing matches from March. His initial fine has also been set aside.

POGBACK BABY, IM READY TO BE HURT AGAIN
So the midfielders on our roster are kind of insane, especially considering it was widely regarded as our weakest position prior to this transfer window. I’m sure I could be forgetting some people too:
Paul Pogba
Douglas Luiz
Kephren Thuram
Weston McKennie
Nico Fagioli
Manuel Locatelli
Teun Koopmeiners
Miretti (on loan)
Honestly I’m 50/50 on taking him back. Yes it’s good to have the depth and experience but he’s probably a shell of the player he once was
i hope he can replace Bremer
Oh wow. Hope he stays.
How long is his contract with us?
Would love to have his creativity in the midfield but let’s see if he can actually manage to stay on the pitch this time.
we need any body, especially one with technical capabilities. Welcome back, Pogba.
Luiz and Locatelli r not getting enough minutes already, don’t think we need him….
Also does this mean he’ll go back to his 10 mil per year wage?
So we’ll start paying his wages again on January. Where will that money come from? 😵💫
If he can return close to the levels he previously achieved. We will have a great problem. The issue is he may unbalance our chemistry and force another player to be relegated to the bench. May mean we send someone on loan in the winter if Motta wants to attempt to reincorporate his talents.
At the 10/advanced 8 we would have Koop/Yildiz/Pogba.
At the 8/box-to-box we would have McKennie/Thuram/Luiz/Pogba
At the 6/holding playmaker we would have Fagioli/Locatelli/Luiz/Pogba
Not sure we have enough minutes to go around. Though I am assuming perfect health for all the above which is rare these days.
Why? I don’t want him anywhere neer this team, out with the old. He has not bring anything, and belive he will not bring anything anymore to this team
Kinda strange feeling we would need to reduce his wages no?
He’s washed
I think he was making the absolute minimum before, so now I’m guessing he will make his regular weekly wages for the remaining months of the season and make his full salary for the rest of his remaining seasons.
Does this mess up or at least greatly affect our finances now because of his large salary?
So if he got banned in September 2023 and the ban is 18 months, we will see him again in March 2025
His contact expires in 2026, hmm, not sure what will happen with him, Motta really don’t give two shits about legacy players
pogbackbackback
This is bad, because he’s on 10m a year, that we’ll have to restart paying him from January.
if only he was fit to play..
Money down we still break his contract. He hasnt played in 2 years already
WTF??? NO!
We’d already replaced him, got rid of his high wages and easily injured body, and now this shit?
All layed out for a perfect villain redemption arch. Difficult but not impossible, he is more than welcome to do so.
HE HAS TO PLAY!!! Holy shit! Imagine getting pogba back in jan? So that even if one of the mids has to play in defense. (Be it kenny as rb of loca as cb or idk) we get a replacement. And regardless… POGBA!!! Its over for everyone else lol
Great, not salary wide but Koop will have a backup… he’ll need it after all the games
Ehhhh, whatever. I was hyped when he returned, but after a gazillion injuries I highly doubt he has any space in this Juventus. He isn’t even training with the team…
Edit: just another high salary that Giuntoli will probably try to load off
