They are suppressing, bullying and shutting down anyone with sympathy towards Palestinians. The hypocrisy on truths, freedom of speech, accountability had always been around but the total disregard for morality is sickening. I wish the rest of the world continue to resist Western's influence.

  34. The revelations all are similar throught out the war from captured soldiers. Truth prevails, lies fluctuate. These poor soldiers..Zelensky has been wrong again and again. Yet no arrest warrant upon him.Yet. He is welcomed by NATO and UN.

  36. I have assisted Ukrainian refugees in the UK and Ireland since the end of 2022 with migration forms to mainly Commonwealth countries, notably Canada.
    They mostly seem to have devised ways in obtaining facts from inside Ukraine and this feature supports things I have been told over and again.
    Command changes are frequently violent and carried out by Kiev's foreign mercenary militias.
    Zero care for civilians and indifference to losses and maiming have been features of this regime since 2022 and it should be remembered that as soon as Zelenskyy was elected (the vote was rigged because Lviv and other oblasts had their papers discounted) all money to the Civil Defense was terminated. Kharkiv and Sumy paid for their own from local taxes for the cities but not the oblasts of the same name.
    By mid-2023 numerous NCOs and junior officers became refugees because they were being ordered to do impossible things and cruel things too, especially kidnapping "recruits" from obscure settlements and mental facilities and using children as drug runners.
    A quite senior officer who got out via Belarus on the day of his retirement told me that the allegation of children being held in Russia was a blatant lie. It arose from evacuations from mainly Mariupol by Russian buses when Kiev sent no evacuation vehicles and, indeed, ordered 'militia' groups to raid trains and frequently damage the tracks along the 'land corridor'. Ukrainian railway officials issued small arms and some militia personnel met with accidents. Trains routinely traveled slowly in darkness with volunteers using drones and vehicles to seek breaks in lines. These would be bridged where possible using lengths of line which could be welded into place and better repairs made the following dusk in case sabotage squads were lurking. Welding sparks were concealed by people holding up backs of seats on sticks and bunched up trains could get through, ignoring automatic points and allowing trains to use branch lines to Sochi and Odesa with just enough staying to scheduled stops to deceive the militias. By January 2023 the Russian army had dealt with these militia groups as part of the larger operation to stop attacks on the Enerhodar dormant nuclear station. This sped up the removal of remaining fissile material and reactor bodies to be moved in special 'flask' wagons to Russia. By April 2023 the remaining cooling pond rods were moved to Russia partly using the Mariupol line among several others aided by IAEA staff which had been called in by Moscow not Kiev.
    Many Ukrainian railway workers were arrested but the very brave CEO of the company used his high business and press profile to call Zelenskyy's bluff and all but a few returned to duties. Some were singled out to be pushed into the army but this had been anticipated and they either escaped Ukraine or (the majority of about 20) chose to join the rebuilding of Mariupol cooperatives which are never reported on in the west.
    Several separate people told me and co volunteers diversion of donated weapons to "desert markets" was on a massive scale but the USA did not tag them. The French and British did. Very early in 2023 a team of Finnish, French and Aljazeera journalists published evidence of auctions in northerly regions and the middle east. It was entitled 'tundra and desert weapons auctions' and was suppressed by the west especially NATO.
    The sexual allegations part of the TOI feature are probably true. Kiev wanted to use women volunteers as propaganda but the reality is that they were very few. Russia reported discovering the bodies of women soldiers in something like AFU uniforms in trenches near Bakhmut. Otherwise whenever Kiev published footage of 'patriotic women' in uniform they were 'glam pics'. No female would go into combat wearing long nails and hair not tied up. Not even 1940s Hollywood studios be as crass as that.

  46. In all fairness to the Ukrainians, this PoW doesnt seem like a battle hardened jarhead, and strikes me as the kind of guy who is selfish and complains about everything. If Ukraine wasn't desperate for soldiers a regular military would have filtered this guy out, or given him a support role where he could go back to his mom's house each evening. This kind of guy is a liability to his platoon, and now a liability to his country.
