No thanks. The fact that they are offering a 50% discount proves exactly why we pushed ahead with Nord Stream 2. Ukraine had a gun to Gazprom’s head on transit fees.
The tariff for the transportation of 1,000 cubic meters of gas via the Nord Stream is 20.7 € for the entire route.Tariff via Ukraine 28.7 € (correspondingly additional gas 41.6 €). A 50 percent discount gives a cost = 20.8 €.But Ukraine does not border on Germany. There are Slovakia and the Czech Republic. I think you need to pay them too.LOL!
