  2. Matthew Broderick and SJP have been married for 27 years and I have to admit that when they first got together I found it a very odd pairing. It’s always nice to see a Hollywood couple last like this.

  11. One of the few times you don’t need a story to elaborate…the title did all the work needed here.

  17. I kind of like that he didn’t appear because sometimes it’s a 4th wall break when spouses cameo. For example, Dax Shepherd appears in almost everything Kristen Bell does. So does Ben Falcone with Melissa McCarthy‘s projects, etc. I get it’s a cute wink and nod to the audience, but story wise, I’m glad it’s just SJP’s thing. It keeps Carrie a bit separated from the actress’s real life.

    I think the only way it could’ve worked is if he didn’t work with SJP at all. He was one of Samantha, Miranda or Charlotte’s bad dates.
