Lithuanian president calls for Ukraine’s integration into EU’s single market

  1. Maybe it’s just me, but Lithuania seems to really be getting active and engaged in global affairs recently. It’s good to see.

  3. I honestly don’t know if, so this is not a rhetoric question: is Ukraine ready for it?

    For the common market, Ukraine would also open it’s market completely to western competitors. Would their economy survive that?

    Just look at Greece and how strong their industry was before they joined EU, and how it diminished due to the common market (that is what I assume) to today’s negligible amount?

    I really like the EU, for Germany (and europe-wide peace) it is great. But is it great for everybody?
