  1. well…. I guess they opened their hearts to the wrong ones…

  2. That must be the dumbest / most tone deaf analysis of
the situation in this country I’ve read so far. Good job.

Not talking about the actual problem is what lead us to the situation we’re in right now. Sweden woke up from that nightmare years ago now.

Our problems are now also leaking out to our neighboring countries. And I’m surprised they haven’t taken more drastic actions yet.

  3. Yet xenophobic Poland opened their hearts, homes, schools, institutions and hospitals to millions of Ukrainians and … everything worked out fine somehow. The refugees are picking up the language, continuing studies, working, opening up businesses, paying taxes and a lot of them want to stay. Poland remains one of the most peaceful places on Earth. Explain that to me.

  4. As a french, i find astonishing that other countries in Europe did not see what was going on in my home (ghettos, urban violence, etc) and told themselves “yeahhh, let’s not be like THESE guys”. Instead, it was more “i bet we can do better”. No, they could not, of course, and it turned to shit!

  5. This is all by design. Some smart people in Sweden, Germany et al. projected that their economies will need x number of laborers by 202x and they opened the floodgates conveniently with a “good cop” liberal-ish governments. Now their numbers align and are trying to weed out the excess, conveniently with a “bad cop” conservative-ish governments.

Coincidentally in my southern European country I can no longer find a plumber, electrician, construction workers.

For smart people that rule you, everything is quantified to numbers in a projection, you nobodies plebeians are distracted by the good cop/bad cop act because that is the only way you understand the world.

Tldr; Good job to whoever is in charge of long term planning in the Swedish government.
