  1. Wait, it did? Wasn’t there, well, a bit of re-establishment of communist regime with glorious communist counterrevolution?

  2. The title is “a bit” stretched, 2 weeks later the communist regime was back in control (and until 1989). But honor to the Hungarians to have been the first ones to revolt against a communist regime in Europe.
