  1. Nepali Government were sleeping and keeping themselves warm and enjoying other suffering tv news. What we can expect from them ? They talk and talk but do not act at all.

  2. The current PM is the most insensitive person among the politicians. It is because he is the same guy who killed farmers at the age of 22 and served a jail term for 14 years (the current President stated this in public). What can people expect from a person to prevent the loss of lives from natural disasters?

  3. जे भए पनि सरकारनै नराम्रो भन्ने भेडा जन्ता हरू हाम्रो म्यानमार लाई हेर

  4. That's the cause of global warming the rain had came long for 2 days Continously all day and night the rain should come in the month of mid July and august but it came in the end of September.

  5. As a Nepali guy its embarrassing to have a representative of new York times that doesn't know how to speak English.

  6. KP OLI is a shame in the country .
We need Balen as a future PM . The Mayor of Kathmandu valley has already proved he is the capable one and he is only 34 years old with an engineering degree. There is absolutely no hope from the old aged leaders who do not have vision and mission for the nation so
Balen for Nepal Nepalese for Balen . Jay Nepal Jay Balen

  7. The problem is Nepalese people are too naive. These floodings and landslide has been ongoing issue for years. When you have a corrupt government like Nepal, all the emergency services are probably running with bare minimum resources, unqualified workers, and zero disaster planning.

  8. A result of carelessness and unpreparedness to help achieve the basic needs of the general public. This is all due to extreme corruption and Nepotism across all major politicians.

  9. 10. We r seeing Kathmandu mayor Balen Shah as our future leader. He did try his best to get rid of those houses which were at risk but, people ignored his warning now all those houses r no more in that place. I hope people will follow him. I just want him to be PM of our country someday…
