This Times article is almost a word for word copy of a daily mail article, and so far they are the only ones reporting it. The articles are a bit odd. Both articles sound like they were written with an agenda. For example, they have quoted a whole paragraph from the email, but quoted just the three words “no quick fix” on its own. Have to ask, if they have the email why not quote in with the full context?
I’ll probably wait until we see the full email or more reporting from more reliable sources before swallowing the narrative they are pushing. (Yes, the Times quality has fallen a lot recently)
