I love like everyone loves to be politically correct…
2013? The US was doing amazing at the time while a lot of the EU had that double hit of 2008 + EU debt crisis…. not to mention the migrant crisis and Brexit that happened shortly after 2013.
It’s funny cuz it’s true. Germans are surprisingly poor.
You have your political opponents make the painful reforms for you and die on the electoral cross, then ride the coattails of the subsequent boom while cozying up to corrupt corporation to help make them richer.
Then you claim all the credit, and act stupid when the scandals come out.
