How Trump’s relationship with Putin undermines national security and empowers authoritarianism

From his presidency, we already know that Donald Trump’s relationship with Vladimir Putin has consequences. Trump sided with Putin over U.S. intelligence on election interference at the 2018 Helsinki summit, withheld aid from Ukraine, and continuously criticized NATO, creating conditions for Russia’s war in Ukraine. His allegiance to Putin undermined our national security, empowered authoritarianism, and threatened to destabilize global alliances. “This is a very scary moment,” says Sir William Browder, Global Magnitsky Justice Campaign head and author of ‘Freezing Order,’ “because we could be in a sort of World War III type of situation if Putin can run the roughshod over Europe, because he no longer has to worry about American aid for Ukraine.”

  1. Trump can do or say anything he wants and there never be any repercussions for him. I agree with him on one thing…the justice system is definitely flawed.

  2. something we will never get an answer to but i do wonder if and how much of the secrets that he stole were sold/given to other countries?

  3. In a democracy there is a rule of law. In a dictatorship society there is not a rule of law but business under the table. Under the table there's a flow of millions of dollars for a particular favor.

  4. Why are we giving this traitor secret service protection? Especially, when he continues to undermine our democracy and threaten the current president, judges, prosecutors, jurors and federal agents.

  5. Our justice system is broken beyond repair. The proof is walking free instead of being jailed as the traitor he is. July 13 was a national tragedy. Make Accuracy Great Again

  6. Also, ask yourselves why Trump would have taken all those sensitive, secret documents to his house? He was more interested in golfing than poring over documents while he was the president, and suddenly he wants to retain nuclear secrets and such… It is a miracle the man is still running for president and not in chains in an oubliette somewhere.

  7. Typically arrogant American to think that Ukraine is totally dependent on the US and that Ukraine would crumble without US aid. Do you think the UK 🇬🇧 and the rest of NATO 🇺🇳 do not have a plan for if the orange turd gets back in❓

  8. Remember how the first thing Donald did after he moved into the White House was to invite the Russian ambassador and some other Russians into the Oval Office to celebrate their election victory, sending all Americans out of the room so they could talk in private.

  9. So Trump had peace with Putin would Joe Biden he's blown the s*** out of Ukraine which were supposed to be helping Ukraine budget Putin open up a pipeline just like we're helping Israel but giving Lebanon money and letting the worst enemy Iran practice making nuclear missiles

  10. Putin to Trump, "I've made 40 billion since I took over." Trump to Putin, "Jesus! Really? All I've managed is $300,000 from putting the Secret Service in my hotels." Putin to Trump, "just take over, I'll show you how if you'll give me Ukraine, then we'll both be in clover." Trump to Putin, "Great DEAL."

  11. Trump executed 13 people on death row before leaving office, right before leaving! And check it out bc I think I read only 2 had been executed in 60 years 😮 he’s a monster

  12. My GOD, America, how can anyone on the right support this traitorous clown… Trump has so much to hide.
