4444 steps and absolutely worth it.
The whole experience, the boat trip from Forsand through the Lysefjord, the hike down with all its waterfalls and of course the stairs itself with great views along the way.
Pictures where taken in July this year, not crowed at all. I believe 10 people in total went up that day.
The climb up took us about 2 hours with a break every 1000 steps. Hike down also two hours.
