1. BBC is a propaganda machine. It's comments polite the minds of receipents. I stopped watching all TV and reading any mainstream news 12 years ago.

   White Brtains, English, Celts, Welsh and including Romans, Normans, Saxons, Vikings built this country. They went home eventually some after 100s of years. Later came varying far flung immigrants to join us … way way later.
   Its time we honoured our ancestors even though invaders invaded they contributed … Romans roads, wheel, viaducts, plumbing and thats to start.
   White people created the light bulb, electricity, penicillen, steam engine, airplanes, automobile, motorbike, atom bomb, tank, thats for a start. There are masses more things invented by Europeans, Americans, Australians who are varying colours of white.
   So who on earth would get on a band wagon to try to shame and actually punish white middle aged males in our country who are our people and our ancestors?
   I wont.
   Thanks to white ancestors all over the world I have light, heat, cookers, sanitation, a toilet (Thomas Crapper) rather than a hole in the ground, can get in my car go on holiday on a plane or a train, go in a glider, hot air ballon, skiing.
   There is masses more invented by white men and women. Masses.
   Im not accepting it. Im honouring them all.

   And if I were black Id be honouring my ancestors and I would not jump on any bandwagon denigrating any sector of my community just because they were male, black, middle aged.

21. Watched Michael McIntyre's the wheel last night, every episode I've seen has had the same mix of contestants, 3 contestants, almost guaranteed one will be a gay man, one a Muslim woman. Inclusivity is one thing but is one in three heterosexual white British really representative of the nation?
