How Putin’s collapsing economy could lead to Ukraine victory | Sten Rynning

“They have manpower issues. Ukraine has the capacity, if they can make it last, that this will inflict severe pain on Russia.”

Sten Rynning, director of DIAS, says that he predicts the war in Ukraine will last for at least another year. With the war starting to really damage Russia’s economy, Russia are resorting to using “outdated weapons” and taking weapons from Ukraine and Iran.

#Timesradio interviewed Sten Rynning at the Cheltenham Literature festival 2024, where he spoke on NATO at 75.

  12. Great interview, this guy knows what he is talking about, and it is refreshing that the interviewer gives him plenty time to explain what his realistic expectations of the war are. Good reality check, this is where we stand now…. but it gives me hope that Ukraine will win, and Russia will lose.

  22. The Nile is more than just a river! With people of this caliber running the show, Europe will be doomed. The European continent does not exist from a purely geological sense; there is no continental plate called Europe! It is west Asia, and without Russian gas fueling Germany's industrial power house, where will Europe get its financing from. Clearly, the USA has no intention of falling behind Europe after it falls from first place to China in the immidiate future. This war of words they are running its a bluff and it will soon be called!!
