Well at least the lines are going to be shorter. And the lines at dunks is going to get longer
Lol what discounts and promotions
Get a superautomatic
Guess I will continue spending nothing on their overpriced drinks.
Save 100% by not buying their coffee.
>In the past, Starbucks had mostly avoided coffee promotion but ramped them up earlier this year to lure back customers.
>It’s now reversing that strategy — one of the first major moves under Niccol, who took over in September. Starbucks’ sales have fallen for two straight quarters.
Higher prices will surely increase sales. Right?
My plain Starbucks coffee is nudging $4 now. Always told myself when it hits $4, that’s when I go back to making coffee at home, or buy from a gas station. Some stations have pretty good coffee, usually $2.
Yes that will help people afford your overpriced shitty product with transactions declining.
I brew my own espresso every morning. Had a long drive yesterday and stopped by Starbucks for the first time in years. $6 for a grande latte. Which is 1oz espresso and 15oz milk. The drink was literally too hot to drink or hold in my hand. Did they put boiled milk in it? I don’t even know what I bought.
I’ll never forget meeting with the Director of Real Estate of Starbucks…and he explained to me 3 things as to why Starbucks is a success.
1) It costs them 10 cents to make a cup of coffee, which they resell for $5-$9..The markup is huge!
2) Coffee is the #4 import in the country, next to salt, sugar, etc.
3) Coffee is addicting
Starbucks can go fuck themselves if they say they can’t afford discounts and promotions.
Also, get off coffee. I did, it was hard, but now life is so much better and I save more money. And if you still need a cup of coffee, buy beans in bulk and make your own.
