Fuck, am I an older scot now? I’ve lowered the thermostat to 18 to avoid spending a tenner a day
Lots of Scottish people are doing this. Why is it required to feel sympathy only for older people?

A lot of electricity produced in Scotland comes from renewable sources, so much that we are selling energy to other countries, so why are we paying so much for it ?

I personally heat up by jogging 15 miles to and from work because the train is so expensive
I understand the headline. Maybe the pensioners should have paid into a private pension scheme. As they are recommending that younger people do now. Instead of at the time . spending it down the boozer and cheap Spanish holidays.
How can that be, Reddit told me all these pensioners are loaded sitting on millions.
Im only 33, so basically everything is off and I use a huge candle to heat one room, the rest is wrapping up. Cant imagine how older people are suffering. Disgraceful.
Absolute scandal that we have higher utility prices (by far!) then rest of Europe.
And its only going to get worse as nobody in power up here or Westminster wants to adopt anything that might give us cheaper energy.
High taxes, high fuel bills and mediocre (at best) services. Hooray!
