It was much cheaper under trump than harris/biden.
Trump inherited Obama’s economy and low inflation, so he was just cruising on that. The only thing of his that actually kicked in under his presidency was the corporate tax cut, which resulted in a huge “sugar high” at the stock marked, fueled by the stock buy-backs. Then COVID hit, and his total cluelessness in managing it he really tanked the economy and caused the huge inflation spike that it took Biden 4 years to bring back under control. Sure, we have leveled off at higher price point, but salaries have kept up with it for the most part, and things will continue to improve from here on out. Trump’s proposals will kick inflation back into top gear, leaving some other poor guy or gal to clean up after him, just like last time.
Ah yes the Wall Street journal, where they will have this story on the front page right next to the editorial piece about how Harris will ruin the economy.
If you want to read the news on WSJ just ignore the editorial board. If you want to live in fantasy world then dive into the editorial content.
