  1. The day of reckoning has come for the human race, the age of the hamster begins.

  2. TLDR summary

A 38-year-old woman in Villarreal, Spain, collapsed and died outside a health center after being bitten by her children’s pet hamster. She was on her way to seek medical attention when she collapsed just feet from the entrance. An autopsy is being conducted to determine if the hamster bite, potentially linked to rabies or an allergic reaction, contributed to her death. Similar incidents have occurred in the past, including a 2007 case in England where a man went into anaphylactic shock from a hamster bite and a 2004 case in Japan where a man died after suffering a fatal asthma attack caused by an allergic reaction to his hamster’s saliva.

  3. I read somewhere to never get close to cute field mice because they carry hantavirus and you can end up with hemorrhagic fever

  4. Well, at least she did not turn into a hamster-garou after being bitten…

  5. That nearly also happened to me (loosing breath), it was a virus infection.

  6. I have never seen why people invite rodents into their lives.

Though I am very sorry to hear what happened to this poor woman.

  7. Giant Miniature Space Hamsters have had enough of our shit, this is how their invasion starts. ALL HAMSTERS AND RANGERS REJOICE!

  8. I used to always have a hamster when I was younger. The little shits were forever nipping and biting me, though as a kid I just laughed it off. I bought one and unbeknownst to me it was pregnant when I bought it. I found out later only because one day I found the mother holding half a baby that it was in the process of eating. The laughter died that day. That horror show was the end of my hamster adventures.
