  1. ” yer team lost 10-0, yakunt ”

what we used to say for the craic

  2. Jeez. You think he must dislike internment or mass shootings or smth

  3. What a horrific scenario.

Any army member caught terrorising innocents should stand on trial.

Do not conflate that with also agreeing that not wearing uniform and being a combatant makes it simple.

Republicanism must decide if it’s a war, terrorism or a conflict (aka no vote).

If it was a war then there are standards that were not adhered to, on both sides- which we as a post violence society deserve to be equally atoned to give us all a positive future.

There was absolutely a reason for an armed response to historical brutality on the catholic community but there is also a difference with that and what was done.

Buses of workers or la mon or fire bombing mothers who own shops were not right and it seems it’s not « fair » to ask.

The whole equation must be balanced – or tell me what I am missing

  4. If he’s doing that he’d probably object to the “northern” irish part

  5. People here weren’t actually shouting at the soldiers, but at a point well past them, it just looks like they were shouting at them because their face was pointed that way.
