Thomas Tuchel signs deal to become new England manager

1. Obviously not the first choice, but should be a decent fit.

   Plus he’ll already have a good knowledge of the working women of London, which will come in handy.

   The Temu Jurgen Klopp is probably the best candidate available, knows the league.

3. He will have had a row with at least 3 well established players and the FA by the end of November. It’s nailed on.

   Having said that, he is actually a good manager and seems to thrive in cup competitions.

   He was superb at Chelsea – my favourite manager since Mourinho. I can’t wait to see whether he can do the same for England!

6. I’ll take it. I would have preferred Klopp but Tuchel is a good manager with trophies to back him up. We will need to give him time but as long as does not stick Foden up front and lets Trent play a more attacking role then he will an improvement over Southgate.

7. Are we really that bereft of talent that we have to get a German in.

10. On the one hand I’m happy, he’s a great manager. On the other hand I know that if we win the World Cup the Germans won’t shut up about how they won it for us for decades to come
