Further Israeli strikes hit southern Beirut | BBC News

Israeli strikes on Lebanon have continued with more attacks on southern districts of Beirut.

Israel had issued warnings to civilians to evacuate parts of the Lebanese capital it considers to be Hezbollah strongholds.

The Lebanese government has said that more than 1,400 people have been killed so far.

Israel’s military has said it’s investigating how five rockets – fired from southern Lebanon on Sunday night – managed to penetrate Israel’s air defences and explode in the northern port city of Haifa. Several people were injured.

Why don't the BBC investigate grooming gangs, the absolute two tier legal system (Manchester Airport thugs still not charged) and the blatant corruption in labour government. The organization placed weapons depots and rocket launchers in densely populated areas, including villages and private homes, to deter Israeli strikes on those locations. Evidence showed that Hezbollah blocked civilians from leaving villages in southern Lebanon, using them as part of their military strategy. One significant example occurred in Beirut, where Hezbollah built precision missile factories underneath residential apartment buildings, putting local residents at risk​(Foundation for Defense of Democracies)​(Wikipedia).
