The animal health company Intervacc announces that the residual situation regarding the vaccine Strangvac in Sweden is resolved and the vaccine is back in stock for delivery. This is stated in a press release.
As previously announced, the backorder situation arose on October 1 and was predicted to last until mid-October.
“The company applied through a special procedure, Special Batch Release (SBR), to make the newly manufactured batches available for sale, and can today announce that after obtaining authorization for SBR in Sweden, Strangvac is available for immediate delivery in Sweden.
The procedure and process, including Special Batch Release, is different in different countries and the time to make Strangvac available again in other markets will vary”, the company writes further.
