Yeah a star system is named Belgium in the game. Doesn’t always have interesting things in it though.
There’s also a system named Trappist. Much better star system.
This definitely checks out fellow space nerd! I had a system of Belgium with 2 planets , prime and secundus (original I know). Invaded by a ravenous swarm and the whole population eaten/enslaved HOWEVER this was a necessary sacrifice because as this was happing I took out the other half of their split fleet ( outnumbering mine 2 to 1) and eventually managed to push back the swarm and retake them. After centuries of multiple wars with the swarm (as they had basicly eaten anyone except 1 other civ and the fallen empires), legions of psionic warriors recruited from both Belgium’s (turned them into fortress/war worlds) invaded the swarm’s capital and purged. Brave Little Belgium(s) have been avenged. Xenos purged. (Psionic) humanity reigns supreme in the galaxy. 👌
