Mental health helpline funded by royals shared users’ conversations | Mental health

  1. Not good, though sounds like the data was anonymised and only made available to researchers aiming to help people who are suicidal so i’m slightly conflicted on this

  2. “Mental Health Innovations, the charity that runs the helpline, said all users agreed to terms of service that allowed data to be shared”

Yeah if I’m at my wits end and desperate for help I’ll be reading every term of service, like I already do.

Some proper South Park Human Centipede shit.

Just offer the service you advertise on the tin.

  3. As long as its anonymous as someone who’s been suicidal it’s a good thing. The Guardian are really stretching here and only because it’s got a slight connection to the royal family

  4. I’ve used this multiple times and every single time they asked me what my name was and sometimes also my age. Really dodgy.
