France is wise. Buying cheap Russian gas is the difference between the French economy and the German economy.
Is this the way macron helps Ukraine
This is why free journalism is important. To know thyself.
I guess the key here was that Europe was importing this gas, and this is why the ship was "in the vicinity" of Brest. If they banned repairs, they would be delivering gas to asia, and get repairs there, but then Europe would need to pay more for gas. All these sanctions and war mongering are just self isolation.
In WW2 it was Germany and Russia in alliance to invade Poland. Now, it's France and Russia in alliance to invade Ukraine.
Financing Russia's invasion is little different than participating in it.
Congratulation to this young journalist!
Simple disgusting!Where are you Macron?
πππ the french will not go down with the USA sinking ship….
Did these ships encounter some kind of safety issue at sea? Maybe its an international law thing, where they have to dock at the nearest port and seek repairs.
The truth is that EU doesn't do it because it will also hurt the EU as well. If there are less ships – less gas on the market, the EU will have to compete with Asia to buy gas from the middle east at a high price. The prices are already high so they don't want their economies to get worse. The politician dont want say it out loud but their behavoir tells you the truth.
