  1. yeah great its retroactivly not illegal ti leave the house.

problem is that this will probably not get the media attention that would be neccessery… sure ppl can now order the fees back they may have paid… maybee even sue for damages (as long as they can prove them)

but this will never happen since our news will underrepresent this possibility

  2. Important to note. This is the highest court in Bavaria retroactively declaring the curfew in Bavaria from March 2020 unconstitutional.

  3. What is the penalty for those responsible? Surely those responsible for creating and enforcing unconstitutional laws should be removed from power, at the very least?

  4. This is the reason I feel angry the way governments handled the whole thing. They intentionally broke the law, knowing all well that it would take a year or two for courts to get on it.

Here I would like to finally see some real consequences for politicians and government.

For example, a politician getting some jail time or government being forced to pay damages (Tagessatz) to every citizen for every day he was not allowed to leave home.

Without consequences, the politic will just do the same unconstitutional things next time again. Why not? They have to show that they are doing something about the crisis.

  5. Bavarian regional court rules the Bavarian law is invalid because it’s too harsh. Not unconstitutional, just too much. And not German, just bavarian

  6. “Yes, people, you were right. We were manipulating you in a manner that spits on several human rights. Soooo, what are ya gonna do about it?”
