  7. Self-defense? It is your proxy that launched an invasion on October 7th, which your other proxy followed by launching rockets on October 8th, while another has been threatening global shipping, and you launched 180+ ballistic missiles at civilian population centers.

    The only thing being defended is a tyrannical regime’s delusions of grandeur. That is an attack on decency.

  18. Israel just took out Iran’s air defence and spent 4 hours with full and undisputed air superiority over Iran’s capital. They destroyed several factories that are crucial to Iran’s missile manufacturing supply chain. But Israel could do anything they wanted. This is impressive.

    The fact there are no strong visuals circulating really sets the narrative that it was a weak attack, but I am not sure it was that weak.

  21. Iran needs to stop playing the victim card They attacked with missile strikes after Israel killed a Hamas leader on their soil. A Hamas that they are funding. Israel has learned from the US that overkill is underrated, they don’t want to win this fight, they want to make them no longer want a fight.

  22. Iran’s “right to self defense” is, by Israel’s own logic, correct. Any sovereign nation can attack when attacked.

    This doesn’t mean there won’t be further de-escalation. Iran could respond with far less missiles than their last attack, and then Israel would respond again with even less, thus ending the situation. If it even comes to that.
