The only way this ends if Russian citizens overthrow the government, but systems have been in place for years to cut the head of the snake when resistance forms.
Russia can’t use nukes without consequences, they would be destroyed themselves, if NATO went in to defend Ukraine with boots on the ground, Putin can’t fire nukes without destroying himself. There comes a time when you have to step in and do what is right, as a collective, and stop looking from the sidelines shaking your head and spouting worthless rethoric.

My wife is half ukrainian and we still have family in Ukraine. I was taking to her niece a few hours ago who lives in kyiv. She sent me a video and as we speak she is in some kind of bomb shelter in kyiv.
When i asked her if it was one of the bomb shelters she responded with! ” yes, it’s cold. It’s scary. I brought my documents and warm blankets. According to information there will be shellings around 3a.m. I hope everything will be okay after 3 a.m.
I haven’t heared from her since, I can’t sleep, i hope she is okay. A 22 year old girl shouldn’t be hiding in a bomb shelter.
Hopefully i get response from her soon and she will be able to get to Poland where i can pick her up.

Truly? I just now saw a Facebook post about Belgium sending 300 men to our Eastern borders and the comment section was not really supportive. Not one comment I saw was supporting Ukraine.
Literally saying to not meddle and let Ukrainians fend for themselves.
Saying that Russia is too powerful and that the US is to blame. Saying the usual shtick of “eigen volk eerst”. Saying that Putin “isn’t actually bad”.
I feel bad about the unending shouting that we support Ukrainians and will help whilst not really doing anything… Slaps on Putin’s wrist yeah, as per usual. Russia won’t suffer as China will help them back up, strengthening their broship.
