  2. Assuming five flats per floor, this building would have accommodated more than one in ten of Ireland’s homeless families at a single stroke.

    That’s how easy the housing shortage would be to solve if the will was there.

    This is exactly the type of place where these developments need built: commutable outskirts.

    In fairness if it’s where I think they wanted to put it traffic would be an absolute nightmare, it’s already horrible at the best of times.
