  1. ‘John Cross, 35, chased the woman upstairs into her property in Clifton, Bristol, on 25 September last year.

He dragged her to the floor, stamped on her chest, kicked her ribs and punched her repeatedly in the face, before fleeing. The woman was taken to hospital and treated for bruising and swelling.’

  2. Nottingham Crown Court will see him again after he gets out. Don’t know what they’re thinking. As if extending his restraining order, that he originally broke, will do anything to stop him from going at her again. Next time she might not make it to the hospital.

    Atrocious.

  3. I hope whoever gave this absolute psychopath that ridiculous sentence won’t have this woman’s death on their conscience in 2 years time…..

  4. This is nothing out of the ordinary. The British criminal justice system is weak as fuck and the public is consistently put at risk by weak sentences passed at court.

Defunding the police, Defunding the CPS, Defunding the courts, Defunding prisons, and Defunding probation services has some very serious consequences
