  1. This, pineapple and some Hallands Fläder makes any summer evening.

  2. When even former starvation era Russians cannot eat your “food”.

  3. A whole 5 seconds before the first kurwa? That was surprisingly long, given the canister of evil he just opened.

  4. I don’t even know why it is legal to sell this. No one seems to take a bite without having a death wish.

  5. You know it tastes bad when not even a Pole can fathom it

  6. average reaction upon meeting “people” from france

  7. So what would you eat this with? Would it be apart of a meal?

  8. Dude thought to himself: I have a fantastic idea. I film myself opening a can of Surströmming and gagging. I’m sure no one has come up with this before me

  9. It smells worse than it tastes, granted but the taste itself is alright. He’s being a wuss

  10. God created Swedish cuisine to punish mankind for our sins (Except kebab-pizza, of course)

  11. I’d try it but good lord it’s got a reputation that precedes itself

  12. Is there actually a video of someone eating it without trowing up?

  13. Honestly, I think it gets a bad rep. Like some cheese literally smells of rotting puss squeezed from a cyst or trench foot, but it actually tastes very mild. I talked to people from Sweden and it seems to be kinda like that with Surströmming. Open it under water, rinse of, put it in a roll with other stuff and it’s quite tasty.

Sadly I haven’t had any, but I also only ever found one can here but it weren’t fillets and I really rather have fillets and I’m a little put off by ritualistic eating, in the sense that I’m too depressed to actually prepare food.

  14. Do Swedes actually eat it or is it just a bioweapon/tourists attraction?

  15. I’ve been to Sweden two times and I still haven’t tried this but honestly I’d like to, Italians aren’t new in trying strong sensorial food (is that a word?).

  16. Actual footage of my girlfriend (polish) eating a succulent swedish meal
