Fantastic news 👏
Spend ALL of the Russian assets on stopping Putin.
This is good news and can be extremely valuable.
The European countries are not able to scale up defence industries consistently and rapidly enough. Recent talks by Zelensky, Rutte and other officilals stated that the current needs of Ukraine lie in the financial support for their domestic industrial capacities.
Ukraine has a lot of capacities, but lacks the finances to fund rapid expansion of these military industries. This funding will actually help massively in stimulating domestic production, while also indicating to foreign private companies (such as Rheinmetal and others) that Ukraine is serious about its future arms industries. Opening up more foreign investments.
Why is this a loan? Just wire the funds over
Creeping slowly towards the $800 billion mark.
Sounds good but it’s not good in practice to just hand someone’s frozen assets to who ever they like might scare off china and uae and other countries like that I’m sure we will see this being a bad idea down the line
Yes Siiiir!
