  1. It’s been erupting for months, it does that every decade or so; like a full year of continuous activity

    The nearby cities have so much black ash that it almost looks like it’s been snowing in hell

  2. This thing is constantly active, they say. Except the one time I was there. Then it was to boring.

    Even if I, a bit grudgingly, have to admit “to boring” is better than “to exciting” when it comes to volcanoes.
