Do the EU treaties actually say EU law has supremacy over national constitutions, or have EU courts just given themselves that power unilaterally? I thought the supremacy of EU law was written into the EU constitution, but dropped from the Lisbon Treaty after the EU constitution was rejected by voters.
EU will just subtract the fine from EU contributions to Poland. I suppose it is emotionally different to have a fine that means you recieve less, than a fine that means you have to pay from what you already have.

I’m from Poland. I’m finishing my school, next year i should start my studies. But I’m afraid if that’s not a good idea, because i don’t want to get stuck in country that becomes catholic authoritarian regime, that has no respect for woman, for lgbt, for disabled. Situation gets heated and I’m afraid that one day Poland just decides to exit EU just because being in EU prevents it from becoming kingdom of Kaczyński and his folks.

Why Poland is treated for demands to have it’s own laws? I think that the polish laws should be equal to the European laws. And the EU has to respect the local laws.

As a Pole. Im 33. 6 months ago i was in dead end shitty job. One day i quit. I just said enough of this. I went to labor departament. I aplied for EU grant to open a business, and i did get it. Almost 6000 euro. Now im waking up happy. And i swear if my shitty goverment will try polexit of some sort. I will be first in Warsaw protesting , throwing stones.
