>“It’s a joke. People need to grow up,” one Trump adviser in the no-apology camp told The Bulwark. “This is what we’re campaigning against: PC culture run amok.”
We’re so lucky that they’re so dumb.
Ooh, edgy. That word has lost all meaning from overuse by twerps like Tony.
By not distancing themselves from the joke about black people the campaign leadership just created an extra news cycle for a damaging story.
Just like conservatives certainly wouldn’t be upset if a comic at a Harris rally made jokes about how the best way to keep your children safe from pedophiles is to keep them out of church?
They went over his set and didn’t think calling Puerto Ricans trash in NYC was a problem.
Comic?
The truth always comes out. Sometimes it is important it comes out quickly. this story has spread very fast.
>Those sources insisted that they did not spot the other objectionable lines in Hinchcliffe’s speech prior to him delivering it because they were ad-libbed.
And yet nobody cut his mike, banged a gong, or pulled him offstage.
Truth be told, Kill Tony is a fun show. It’s full of surprises and new faces. For many of these people it’s their very first time performing stand up. Most of the eat shit but the panel makes fun of them and moves on. Sometimes they find a REALLY funny person and it’s the start of an actual career. If you can separate your funny bone from your intellectual brain and experience that show for what it is (100% comedy focused where NO topic is out of bounds) it’s a good time.
That said: there’s a big fucking difference between the comedy show in its context and a political rally for a major party candidate just 9 days before the election.
It’s common knowledge these days that bro culture has taken over mainstream comedy (thanks to huge names like Rogan, Segura, and Kreischer) but the comedians natural tendency to push things further and further and further is going to be the downfall of a lot of these people’s careers. You alienate no less than half your potential audience with lousy bits like what Tony did at MSG yesterday.
I, for one, can say I’m done with Kill Tony.
Edited for typos.
They were all vulgar, not just this guy.
and that was the line they decided not to cross? nothing else about that set was concerning at all?
“This joke does not reflect the views of President Trump or the campaign,” Danielle Alvarez, a Trump senior adviser said.
I think my favorite part of the article is when faux-human “candidate JD Vance repeatedly mocked Harris’s laugh, calling it “very fraudulent” and “so off putting.””.
Says the most off-putting and awkward guy I have seen try and run for an office.
Please let good prevail over this vile excuse for a human
Jfc, really illustrates his abilities as a comic. He’s stealing my grandpa’s jokes. And my Grandpa is not a good comedian. He’s a good bigot though
“He went off script! He was supposed to be much, much worse!!”
I am stunned at the lack of knowledge of history. they all are using the worst time in history to make jokes. People died over this. The original 1938 rally went under the banner MAKE AMERICA great
Throw in some white sheets, burning crosses and those folks would feel right at home.
So they DID review his script? And everything he said on stage, they let it fly?
There are no more barriers anymore, the full colours of these nazis on display.
And Elon’s @America PAC came out with ads yesterday calling Kamala a “c word”. This is definitely coordinated by the Republican Party. This is their closing message
The campaign reviewed and approved every racist comment, let that sink in.
Voters: ‘What can you do to address my issues?’
GOP: ‘The best we can do is offer you racism, fascism, and sexism.’
Trump Voters: ‘That’s good enough for me.’
Oh, that’s just the very tip of rather very large iceberg of racism and bigotry.
It’s so much deeper than just that.
All that nasty shit said last night just for Trump to do a religious event today and have a bunch of people touching him in unison as they pray lmao.
Right wing humor isn’t even jokes, it’s just calling people names and trying to get under their skin. Which is what they do normally.
Imagine thinking that you’re not a piece of shit voting for Trump because you might save $12 on your taxes. And then remember that Trump actually sucked for people’s taxes.
I love a party that embraces family values. So… demure and mindful. (I hate that meme and I hate myself for typing that. But still.)
I’m old enough to remember when conservatives wouldn’t have allowed this to happen.

Elon did.
The mental gymnastics that religious conservatives will jump through to support a gross hateful immoral criminal fascist while believing they have the moral high ground could set Olympic records.
