Last time I had hope in our elections was 2016 and even after Biden won 2020 I felt weary then J6 happened, and now we’re all here on the edge of the precipice with the world also looking at us with anxiety. This isn’t the nation I was promised as a child, I’m 37 now and it’s just been a long shit show. I still blame all these algorithm based systems for the current state of society. I once clicked on a link to some right wing conspiracy bullshit a family member sent me and for a week after I had to constantly watch what I normally do to get the system to stop suggesting those videos to me. Now imagine some weak minded individual getting that shit fed to them
