The ‘Euston rush’ could be on its way out as early train boarding is introduced

  1. That’s a shame, I really enjoyed playing subway surfers IRL.

  2. Oh, so now I don’t have to try and beat the 100m world record to try and get to my train in time every journey I make from Euston?

  3. What annoys me is that the common sense option of announcing train platforms longer than 10 mins before departure is being claimed as a government victory. Even then it is only for upto 55% of services.

  4. Use realtimetrains and you can see the boarding platform number before it’s announced. Saved me some boarding scrums.

  5. Now all they need is for trains to be there early enough for people to board them

  6. Can someone explain why this hasn’t been possible previously? Surely the trains are waiting on the platform well before they are due to leave.

  7. About time but what took them so long?!

As fun as free workout was, it’s great not to have to barrel down that narrow ramp anymore!

  8. I swear they’re already announced 10-15 mins early & people still swarm like vermin to get on
