Neighbors Zimbabwe and Zambia are facing power cuts of up to 17 hours a day as drought dries up the Kariba dam. It’s at the world’s largest man made lake but critical water shortages have left the countries that rely on hydroelectric power that is meant to generate, in the dark. Nyasha Chingono reports.

  1. Its difficult for African countries to attract foreign investors due to instability and corruption. Solar is the way forward for Africa and they should focus on that. It would be great for African economies.
