Need to have coal plant as back up. Wind, sun, and rain cannot be relied upon; you must have coal or nuc to ensure steady energy supply.
When it is all said and done, fossil fuel’s are the only 24/7 reliable energy source.
Its difficult for African countries to attract foreign investors due to instability and corruption. Solar is the way forward for Africa and they should focus on that. It would be great for African economies.
It's foolishness for any country to rely solely on hydropower for its energy needs, especially in the 21st century.
The man is called Handsome Mainguira, but he isnt
The other challenge is if this dam fails, current corrupt governments are not capable to rebuild it
How about kenya where our dams are overflowing but blackouts are a daily thing.
Solar is the way forward
