Half of Britons think Boris Johnson has performed badly as PM, poll finds

  1. He’s promised funding for flood protection in areas usually hit, promised money to “level up” Britain, promised to not raise taxes, promised to look into the Tories receiving donations from Russians, and promised to deliver Brexit.

So far he’s took the UK out of the EU with none of the Brexit promises met, so Brexit has not been delivered. He’s delayed and hampered wherever possible the release of reports into Tory Russian funding. He’s raised taxes against a manifesto pledge. He delayed everything during the COVID Pandemic and did the “right call” if you mean doing whatever necessary to ensure his rich friends continue to make money. His inaction during COVID has caused unnecessary deaths and uncertainty for businesses.

The only decision I think he got right was to spend money on vaccines and we all got lucky that Oxford/AstraZenica managed to deliver. However since the initial vaccine rollout other counties have managed to surpass the UK and are now much more prepared. The EU didn’t have a single health service like the NHS to roll out vaccines to everyone so it took longer, and ever since he and the Tories have been riding the coattails of the NHS and the staff who worked under stressful positions whilst underpaid and put their lives on the line to save the lives of the public.

The vaccine rollout wasn’t a Tory success, it was an NHS success. People risked their lives whilst he and his friends partied, disrespected and disgraced public office. They need a reality check, we are their boss and they are not entitled to rule us.

He has been a disaster and the Tories will always be stained by this government, their incompetence and corruption.

  2. Actually his clown act is performed very well, but he’s shite at the day job of actual ministering. He should stick to doing booze parties and leave the political parties to the adults.

  3. George Carlin has a potential explanation for the figure: “Think of how stupid the average person is, and realise half of them are stupider than that.”

    Edit: stuff about averages

  4. Only half? Really?!?!?! I live in a predominantly Tory/B**x** voting area full of people who loved him until well into his time as pm. Now I don’t know a single person who isn’t scathing of the guy and the lies, corruption, and his wilful disregard of the rules we should have all been living under for the last two years.

  5. lmao doesn’t matter people will still vote for him because he is a “Character”. A bigot was actually voted in shows you the average intellect of Britons.

  6. I swear Tory voters have amnesia or something more pathological, although they love to be a part of a hierarchy. What a bunch of dummies.

  7. Yet these same half will probably give him a majority next election.

All his CRIMES in the pandemic will be swept under the rug come election time and people will lap the latest slogan!

  8. The other half think he’s performed “extremely badly”. It beggars belief that he’s still in a job. We’re stuck on this small island with a load of morons.

  9. Unfortunately, 30 years ago, Maggie Thatcher told all the working class people they were “rich” and an opposition government would tax the pants off them.
These are people who have no idea what RICH is

  10. I work in a shop. Customer comes in, mid fifties. Starts chatting about the relaxing of Covid rules. Goes on about how Boris has done a ‘sterling’ job steering us through it. How he’s been a fantastic PM, and how unfair it is that the media are now on a witch hunt over ‘partygate’. ‘If one man deserves a party on a night after a hard days work , then it’s Boris’
I was torn between my professionalism as a retail worker and just out right blurting ‘are you for fucking real?’……
