A couple of thousand people protested in Basel today against the Russian invasion of Ukraine. This is interesting because it was organised within the last few days and didn’t even have permission from the authorities yet. It was peaceful from the beginning to the end. Solidarity with Ukraine.
It was great, unfortunately a few Marxist groups tried to make this more about anti-capitalism than anti-war and pro-sanctions.
I was annoyed by that, as a veryy leftist person.
It was massive in Bern. It was about 10’000-20’000 people in the street of the city.
I’m happy people are going out to protest against the decisions of the government.
