News yesterday: no worries we dont deal with the region directly, only a slight pricehike is to be expected
News today: prepare to get fucked, peasant!
France froze the price recently. Belgium did it few years ago..
Maybe it’s time to do it again
I just called for mazout. Those prices also going skyhigh. Could luckely get todays price!
Damn, what’s going on? This post has been here for almost an hour, and still no comments about the nuclear exit and the green parties?
It’s up to 50%
Buckle up, plebeians
In September last year I cursed because my stable contract was renewed, tripling my energy bill.
Since some time now, and especially today, I’m grateful that it only tripled.
And at the same time a far more concerning situation is developing.
Anyone got a savefile from a couple of years ago lying around? I’d like a do over.
In January I opted for a fixed contract. It was a bold choice since it was triple from what I usually paid (totalenergies really pushed me towards a flexible contract as prices would likely go down) but I’m glad I took it.
I filled up the tank of my car. I probably could have waited another week, but the price was already 4 cents/Liter higher than Monday so I’m not taking any chances.
What we are observing is capitalism breaking down.
There is no healthy market with competitive corporations. Only monopolies or megacorporations in a lockstep with their so-called competitors.
And in the mean time, the rich are getting richer and greedier.
Look, this isn’t a siren song for communism. The last thing we need is centralized control. We need to break up megacorporations. Implement actual free market mechanisms. Equal taxation based on wealth.
Yes let’s panic about the gas prices… Do exactly what Putin wants you to do!
Dikketruien~~dag~~ ~~maand~~ kwartaal
Gueess its time to invest in those expensive upgrades after all, at this rate rebuilding my whole house might pay itself back in a year or 2
I wonder how this will impact the 15th of March decision.
But but Tinne said we’d be okay
I already paid a bill nearing 2000 euro for a one bedroom flat for electricity.
