  1. This *looks* legit, but I think it would be helpful if somebody here knows a bit more about this organisation and can confirm that they actually are in a position to do what they promise, and that it is even legally possible.

Sorry to sound so cynical, but in situations like this you can expect a lot of bad actors taking advantage.

  2. May we start stating the obvious about Germany’s response to Ukraine? Is Germany, the richest country in the EU, morally bankrupt? The policies under Merkel and Scholz alike, have hooked the people to Russian gas. Now that the dealer appears to be set on destroying the fundamental freedoms in Europe, the addict cannot cut herself loose. The quasi appeasement comes at a deadly cost to Ukrainians. Ukrainians for now. Who would have thought that Germany would be the largest enabler of Putin. I watch German TV, the Tagesschau life stream here in the US, and hearing the authorities talk so calculated and carefully is just so out of touch with human empathy..

  3. Are there any reputable organizations helping Ukrainian that I can donate to? Unfortunately, I live in a small studio apartment where basically the kitchen and bedroom are one room, so I have no space to house anyone else, but I want to help somehow πŸ™
