Germany to send thousands of weapons to Ukraine in major reversal

  1. Finally. Germany is often too hesitant until it’s too late or almost too late. I understand why German isn’t too keen in getting involved in wars, but we can’t let that get into the way of helping our European brothers and sisters

  2. About time.

I understand that Germany due it’s history can be reluctant to get involved, but it’s definitely the right thing to do.

  3. It’s good to criticize politicians for not doing the right thing, but that also means that we need to support them when they do good.
So, good job, Germany! That’s a good start!

  4. German weapons will be used against russian once again but now Germany is on the right side of history.

  5. 1000 panzerfausts should be terrifying for the Russians. Even if only half hit the targets, that’s 500 russian tanks gone.

  6. So… does that mean we’re the last ones to have done absolutely nothing ?

    Hum.

Does changing the lighting on the Eiffel Tower constitute an act of war ? It’s the best we can do for now.

  7. Kremlin will spin this into European powers arming neo-nazis.

I hope the Russian people are able to see through the waves of misinformation being spewed to them through the propaganda machine. Putin has turned Russia into a fully fledged dictatorship where he has total control over the narrative his people hear. The people cant even broadcast their own opinions via peaceful protesting without being shut down and any journalists opposing Putin are jailed or assasinated.

I wonder if a day will ever come where the living conditions turn for the worst and the people will have finally had enough. I’m not wishing for such a day because the Russian people do not deserve to suffer for the actions of their dictator. However, the day might come sooner than expected if this war goes on longer than Russia can sustain all the sanctions and consequently the unrest of the people.

  8. I have a question. In this kind of case. The weapons that get sent from other countries. Are they being sent for free? Or are they in fact being sold?

  9. In the past few days I have criticised Germany harshly. I would like to apologise, and admit that I was wrong, and humbly express my admiration and gratitude.
