Govt agrees to end almost all Covid measures

  1. I’m really pleased with the government for this. I was afraid we’d be forced to wear masks for many more months just because it’s a minor thing that doesn’t disrupt our lives much.

  2. After the absolute crawl that was last Summer’s “reopening” it’s nice to see positive changes that don’t take months to enact

  3. Mad how the pandemic is over * and yet my life hasn’t magically returned to what it was this time 2 years ago

    I don’t know what I expected

  4. I felt so cool avoiding covid for 2 year till getting it last week but I’m kinda relieved I don’t need to worry about getting it with nobody wearing masks for a little while

  5. Can we start already the conversation of pedestrianizing the streets before summer starts? Would be lovely to have the roads to us for a few weeks.

  6. I don’t know why they are lifting masks as a measure like this. They don’t hinder anyone. They don’t hurt anyone. And they actually limit the spread of viruses. I’m probably gonna keep wearing one now matter what especially in the city which is pretty gross. Stupid government is stupid tbh

  7. I remember when we used to discuss ’the end of COVID’ everyone said it would be a gradual, slow return to normal. There wouldn’t just be a day when everything went back. But turns out that’s exactly what’s happening and that date is March 1st. Funny how things work out.

Anyway! Can’t wait for my first normal birthday in 2 years! I was out in a club with my friends last Friday and good lord it was wonderful to just go out and dance again.
