  1. Better late than never. Now please support Russian’s SWIFT removal, some proper sanctions and sink that abomination that was Nord stream 2

  2. It’s good to criticize politicians for not doing the right thing, but that also means that we need to support them when they do good. So, good job, Germany! That’s a good start!

  3. Better late than never. Let us hope the shipment reaches Ukraine as soon as possible and it does not take weeks or days which Ukraine does not have.

  4. What will happen when Shoigu suddenly announces the “retirement of President V. V. Putin due to health reasons” and the formation of a new Interminent Cabinet of Peace?

Will Germany quickly state that Shoigu is indeed a trusted, friendly face, who must be accepted and embraced, and in no way blamed for the actions of a deceased dictator, who had personally come to each of his citizens with a gun pointed at their heads, and threatened them into unwillingly following his orders?

Will Nord Stream 2 return, will the FSB become a helpful organization within an hour, will the world happily continue, secure in the knowledge that the one man, who had threatened it is now gone, that he had been acting on his own, without anyone else’s participation, and that he was personally responsible for everything, from the invasion of Ukraine, to the torture and murder of Magnitsky, to the rapes of political prisoners with broken bottles in Butyrka?

  5. Please tell me how they are gonna deliver it to Kiev. If they are saying that they are gonna deliver it in 5 days, I dont know if that would help.
I want Ballinsky to hit Putler with these before that flamethrower weapon that Russia has starts killing innocent people.

  6. This is a MAJOR Move on the aprt of Germany

This is the first time in german history since WW2 that germany send arms into an active war zone between souvereign states.

This isnt a small deal for Germany, it took major pressure by our allies to finally get our gouvernment to break one of the biggest post WW2 policies.

After this german policy ius going to change forever, its a major precedence case. Tomorrow the german chancelor will adress the parlament and the nation about the current situation and the expected follow ups to the sanctions. For Germany, this is a major deal. Germany is, unlike the UK, Poland, the baltics or the US, not a nationalistic or militarized country and now a lot of people are very concerned.

As our chancelor said in his statemeant to the arms deliveries: THis is a major historic tuning point

  7. Next step : the 27 breaking diplomatic relations with Moscow. Keeping consulates open in token of good faith

  8. I think Ukraine said – we gonna cut the gas pipes and everyone will have to get gas from Russia via Germany.

  9. Why were they waiting for the Germans to sell them these? Could they not have bought similar weapons elsewhere?

  10. My only fear is that nations sending military help to Ukraine run the risk of being pulled into the war themselves. Imagine a scenario where a paranoid Putin, triggered by news of such military aid, decides to launch a missile attack on an European city. We’re then looking at a Europe wide war, or even a world war.

It’s a very fine line to walk. On one hand, the world must stand up to a bully. On the other, the costs of such standing up may be too expensive to pay.
